GuiBarros, currently ranked No. 10 in the EA FC World Rankings, has secured a spot in the 2025 FC Pro World Championship following a strong performance in this year’s eMLS competition, where he finished as runner-up.
He will be joined by Atlanta United’s Paulo Neto as one of only two representatives from Major League Soccer at the tournament. GuiBarros’ qualification marks the first-ever appearance by a New York Red Bulls player at the FC Pro World Championship.
The tournament will take place as part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 7 to 10.
GuiBarros, an American-born, Brazilian-raised player, will compete under the New York Red Bulls banner as part of the global RBLZ Gaming network.
