The 2018 MLS schedule is out, and the New York Red Bulls will take to the road for half of their 34-game schedule.
The league tabulated the miles the Red Bulls will travel this year, and the team ranks near the bottom of the list.
This season, for MLS play alone, the Red Bulls will need to hit the road for 30,438 miles, fifth-lowest in the league.
Defending MLS Cup winners Toronto FC travels the fewest miles in 2018 (25,891), while Vancouver Whitecaps FC will have to hit the road for an MLS-high 51,178 miles.
This travel schedule does not take Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League or U.S. Open Cup play into account, which can up the Red Bulls frequent flier miles, too. New York opens competitive play against CD Olimpia in the Round of 16 on February 22.
