With a win, New York would move to six points in the group, with Cincy sticking at 3 points and Atlanta United FC at 0. Columbus Crew SC have already locked up the top spot from the group with 9 points through three matches.
A draw would also move New York forward, with the Red Bulls claiming the tiebreaker of goal differential, with -1 to FCC's -3.
