HARRISON, N.J. (June 12, 2018) – New York Red Bulls midfielder Vincent Bezecourt suffered a right knee MCL sprain during Saturday’s match against Columbus Crew SC, the club announced today.
Bezecourt, 25, was signed to an MLS contract last August after spending a year and a half with New York Red Bulls II. He made his first MLS appearance on August 18, 2017 at Portland, and most recently scored the game-winner against NYCFC last week in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match. The French midfielder has a goal and two assists in 10 games across all competitions this season.
Bezecourt will miss 6-8 weeks.
