The last time New York faced Charlotte at Red Bull Arena, Manoel scored his first career multi-goal game. The Brazilian forward has scored one goal across all competitions this season.
He’ll be supported by Luquinhas, Cristian Cásseres Jr. and Wiki Carmona in the attack.
This will be the fourth overall regular season meeting between New York and Charlotte, with the series tied with a 1-1-1 mark. The Red Bulls are unbeaten in their last two matches against Charlotte FC in MLS play.Â
Peter Stroud and Frankie Amaya will lock down the defensive midfield.

Head Coach Troy Lesesne will have Matt Nocita, Omar Valencia, Dru Yearwood, Daniel Edelman, Omir Fernandez, Ronald Donkor, Dante Vanzeir and Tom Barlow available off the bench. Ryan Meara will serve as backup goalkeeper. Valencia joins on a short-term agreement from Red Bulls II.
Andrés Reyes will miss the match due to a red card, while John Tolkin and Cory Burke are away on international duty. Lewis Morgan, Serge Ngoma, Dylan Nealis, Steven Sserwadda will all miss the match due to injuries.
