INSIDE THE 18: Elias Manoel Starts Again for RBNY in Top of the Eastern Conference Battle

Elias Manoel will get the nod to start vs. Philadelphia Union on Saturday evening at Red Bull Arena.

Manoel made his MLS debut in the 1-0 victory in Montreal on Wednesday.

Lewis Morgan and Luquinhas push the attack forward, while Dru Yearwood and Daniel Edelman lock down the defensive midfield.

New York enters the match on a four-match unbeaten streak, while Philadelphia enters the match on a three-match winning streak, while outscoring their opponents, 14-1.

John Tolkin, Aaron Long, Sean Nealis, Andres Reyes and Dylan Nealis start along the back line, with Carlos Coronel starting in goal.

Coronel earned his seventh clean sheet of the season and his 21st of his MLS career, when New York defeated CF Montreal, 1-0, on Wednesday night. He is tied for second in MLS in road shutouts with five this season. Coronel will be playing against former team for the fifth time in his career and has recorded 14 saves against Philadelphia, which ranks the third most he has against a single MLS club.

Tom Barlow, Wiki Carmona, Caden Clark, Kyle Duncan, Omir Fernandez, Hassan Ndam and Steven Sserwadda are available off the bench, with Ryan Meara serving as the backup goalkeeper.

Patryk Klimala is held off the roster as he works back from a knock, while Cristian Casseres Jr. misses the match due to yellow card accumulation suspension.
