INSIDE THE 18: New York Red Bulls, Inter Miami Battle at Sports Illustrated Stadium

The New York Red Bulls welcome Inter Miami CF to Sports Illustrated Stadium on Saturday evening.

Head Coach Sandro Schwarz will deploy a new wrinkle, with Julian Hall getting the start for New York.

Also leading the attack for RBNY will be Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Emil Forsberg and Mohammed Sofo.

Forsberg and Choupo-Moting have combined for six two-goals games this season. Additionally, Choupo-Moting has scored in five consecutive matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Ronald Donkor starts for the Red Bulls, paired alongside Daniel Edelman in the central midfield.

Donkor tallied three assists in the 5-3 win over New England and became the 12th player in franchise history to record three assists in a match.

Raheem Edwards, Noah Eile, Alexander Hack and Sean Nealis get the nod along the backline, starting in front of Carlos Coronel in goal.

This will be the 12th all-time regular season meeting between New York and Miami, with the Red Bulls holding the series advantage with a 6-5-0 mark.

Schwarz will have Wiktor Bogacz, Wiki Carmona, Kyle Duncan, Dennis Gjengaar, Dylan Nealis, Tim Parker, Peter Stroud and Omar Valencia available off the bench. A.J. Marcucci will be the backup goalkeeper.

Lewis Morgan, Cameron Harper and Serge Ngoma will be forced to miss the match.

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Steve Cangialosi will have primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Danny Higginbotham on the English side, while Bruno Vain will have the play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Andres Agulla on the Spanish side.
