Edelman has tallied three career assists against Charlotte FC. Edelman becomes the fifth New Jersey-native to reach 100 matches across all competitions for the club.
Noah Eile and Sean Nealis return to the Starting XI, following their suspension due to yellow card accumulation.
Kyle Duncan, Raheem Edwards and Dennis Gjengaar all make the start for New York.
Carlos Coronel is in goal.
Coronel has six clean sheets this season, tied for third-most in MLS.
