INSIDE THE 18: Red Bulls Look for Consecutive Road Wins to Open 2022 Season

The New York Red Bulls are looking to win on the road for the second time in two matches to open their 2022 season in grand fashion.

New York will deploy a slightly different lineup for Week 2, as Cristian CĂ¡sseres Jr. will miss the match with an injury.

The Red Bulls will see Patryk Klimala, Tom Barlow, Omir Fernandez and Lewis Morgan lead the attack forward at BMO Field in Toronto.

Klimala, Barlow and Fernandez all scored in Week 1 vs. San Jose, with Morgan tallying an assist.

Klimala became the 27th different player in 27 seasons to score the first goal of the season for New York. The Polish striker scored the last time New York played Toronto, which was his first career match against the club.

Dru Yearwood and Frankie Amaya will anchor the defensive midfield.

Dylan Nealis will make his second Red Bulls start, alongside his brother Sean, as well as Aaron Long and John Tolkin.

Carlos Coronel will start in goal for New York, looking to notch his second win of the year.

The Red Bulls will have Tom Edwards on the bench for the first time this season, along with Caden Clark, Daniel Edelman, Lucas MĂ³nzon, Serge Ngoma and Zach Ryan. Ryan Meara will serve as the backup goalkeeper.

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on MSG begins at 1:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 1 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET.
