The New York Red Bulls are back home for the first time in the 2024 MLS season, taking on FC Dallas in the Home Opener at Red Bull Arena.

Captain Emil Forsberg starts for New York at RBA, his first match in his new arena.

Forsberg is joined in the attack by Elias Manoel, Peter Stroud and Lewis Morgan. Morgan starts for the first time in 2024, coming off his game-winning goal vs. Houston Dynamo in Matchweek 3. Morgan will be making his first MLS start since March 11, 2023 against Minnesota United FC.

Manoel scored his first goal of the season in New York’s 2-1 win over Houston Dynamo FC on March 2. Manoel now has scored six career MLS regular season goals. He became the 29th different player to score the opening goal of the season in 29 seasons for the club. The Brazilian forward has scored four goals in his last five matches across all competitions and has scored three goals and three assists in his last three matches at Red Bull Arena.

Frankie Amaya and Daniel Edelman will look to lock down the defensive midfield.

John Tolkin, Sean Nealis, Noah Eile and Kyle Duncan start along the backline. Carlos Coronel is in goal.

Head Coach Sandro Schwarz gets his first match at the Arena and will have Roald Mitchell, Cory Burke, Wiki Carmona, Ronald Donkor, Dannie Gjengaar, Cameron Harper, Dylan Nealis, Andrés Reyes and AJ Marcucci available off the bench.

Gjengaar is on his first matchday roster since joining the club.

Dante Vanzeir, Serge Ngoma, Curtis Ofori and Ryan Meara will miss the match.
