The New York Red Bulls have an early test in the 2024 season, taking on the reigning MLS Cup champions in Columbus Crew on Saturday night at Lower.com Field.

Head Coach Sandro Schwarz makes his first visit to Ohio, with Emil Forsberg and Lewis Morgan leading the way for New York.

Morgan recorded his second goal of the season in New York’s 2-1 win over FC Dallas on March 9. The Scottish winger has recorded two game-winning goals this year, which is tied for first in MLS this season.

Elias Manoel and Peter Stroud look to keep RBNY’s six-match regular season road unbeaten streak intact, the fourth-longest in franchise history.

Frankie Amaya and Daniel Edelman lock down the defensive midfield.

This will be the 80th overall regular season meeting between New York and Columbus, with the series being tied with a 33-33-19 mark.

Andrés Reyes makes his first start of the season, pairing with Noah Eile at the centerback position. Kyle Duncan and John Tolkin defend on the wings.

The Red Bulls and Columbus are two of the five teams that are currently tied for first in the Eastern Conference with seven points.

Carlos Coronel starts in goal for New York.

Off the bench, the Red Bulls will have Sean Nealis, Dylan Nealis, Cameron Harper, Dennis Gjengaar, Ronald Donkor, Wiki Carmona, Cory Burke and Roald Mitchell. Ryan Meara will serve as backup goalkeeper.
