New York Red Bulls II will host Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Friday, July 1, at MSU Soccer Park.
Zach Ryan and Jeremy Rafanello will be the striker duo for Gary Lewis in the match. Ryan will make his fifth start of the season for Red Bulls II and his first since May 27 against Birmingham Legion FC.
Jesús Castellano will play right underneath them as an attacking midfielder, making this third-consecutive start.
Michael Knapp will make his second start of the season and first since May 27, playing alongside Sam Williams in the defensive midfield. Williams has appeared in every match this season.
Curtis Ofori and O’Vonte Mullings will likely serve as wingbacks.
The rest of the back line for New York will consist of Daniel De Leon, Christopher Cragwell, and Lamine Conte.
AJ Marcucci will start in goal and wear the captain’s armband.
The bench for Red Bulls II will consist of Derrek Chan, Bento Estrela, John Murphy, Wiki Carmona, Nathan Worth, Jonathan Filipe, and Jordan Adebayo-Smith.
