New York Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch is taking his talents to South Beach.
The Red Bulls’ manager revealed on Tuesday that he will scout Wednesday’s U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinal match between FC Cincinnati and Miami FC on location at Riccardo Silva Stadium in Miami, Florida.
“I’ll be down in Miami,” Marsch said. “I’ll be watching the Open Cup down there, scouting that game, obviously having a keen eye on what happens down there.”
The New York Red Bulls will face the victor of Wednesday’s game in the Open Cup Semifinals.
“I expect a really spirited game from those two teams and I’m familiar with them, and it’ll be interesting to see who is able to gain an edge.”
If Miami wins, the Red Bulls will take on the NASL side in Florida on Wednesday, August 9.
If Cincinnati wins, New York will head to Nippert Stadium and take on the USL team on Tuesday, August 15.
