With just six games remaining in the MLS regular season, the New York Red Bulls know what they have to do to make the 2017 Audi Playoffs.

"We know that when you look at the table, this is an important game," Head Coach Jesse Marsch said on Thursday. "That being said, they’re all important now."

Just two points separate the sixth-place New York Red Bulls and fifth-place Columbus Crew SC in the Eastern Conference standings. New York enters the match with the upper hand, thanks to two games in hand on their opponent.

The Red Bulls have 42 points (12-10-6) over 28 games (1.50 PPG).

Coming off a loss in the U.S. Open Cup Final, Tyler Adams said the team is going to use the learnings from that game to move through the final games of the season.

"Taking the experience and using it for the best. Use for motivation for the rest of the season," Adams said.
