The New York Red Bulls’ Sacha Kljestan and Daniel Royer have been named to the MLS Week 20 Team of the Week Starting XI. Head Coach Jesse Marsch was also named to the Team of the Week, while Felipe was listed on the bench.
Royer earned one goal, assisted by Felipe, and an assist against Minnesota United FC. The Austrian has now scored in three consecutive MLS matches.
Sacha Kljestan assisted Alex Muyl’s 90th minute goal to set New York’s club record for MLS assists (43), previously held by Thierry Henry (42).
Jesse Marsch extended his club record for MLS wins (44) as the Red Bulls improved to 10-8-2 with 32 points on the season.
