The United States U-23 Men's Youth National Team, featuring New York Red Bulls defender John Tolkin, advanced to the knockout rounds of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Olympic squad will face off against Morocco on Friday, August 2.
This is the first time since 2000 the US Olympic team got through to the knockout round.
Tolkin started all three games in the group stages, a loss to France and wins over New Zealand and Guinea.
This is only the second time in Olympic history the US team will advance to the knockouts.
