Look Out for Lucho

Forward Luciano Acosta has been one of the key cogs in a much-improved Cincinnati attack throughout the 2022 season.

He leads MLS in assists with 19, and has a goal and two assists in the last two matches.

Acosta’s name should be circled when it comes to shutting down a potent Cincinnati offense.

On the Attack

FC Cincinnati has allowed 56 goals this season, which is towards the bottom of the league.

Their last clean sheet came on September 10 in a 6-0 drubbing of San Jose.

There should be opportunities for New York on the attack, it’s just a matter of taking those chances.

Tremendous Trio

Brenner, Luciano Acosta, and Brandon Vázquez have been largely unstoppable so far this season, combining for 46 goals and 33 assists.

Cincinnati became the first club in MLS history to have two players, Brenner and Vázquez, score at least 18 goals in a regular season campaign.

It’s going to be a tough ask to keep this Cincinnati team, who have scored 16 goals in their last five matches, off the score sheet.
