No Easing In

For the first time in two weeks, New York will play an MLS match on Saturday against Columbus.

There will be no time for getting back up to speed after the break, though, as there are only two matches left before the playoffs.

A win would go a long way to clinching a home playoff match for the Red Bulls, and in a hostile environment in Columbus, there will be no time for easing into the match.

Fighting for their Lives

Columbus is currently in a battle for their playoff lives. Only three playoff spots are available for the Crew, along with Inter Miami, FC Cincinnati, Orlando City, Atlanta United, and Charlotte FC.

Saturday's matchup against the Red Bulls is a must-win scenario for Columbus, and they'll be playing like it with their crowd behind them.

New York needs to match that energy and take advantage of a team playing with a sense of desperation with only two weekends left in the regular season.

Road Warriors Return

The Red Bulls have a great opportunity to extend their club record number of wins away from home on Saturday night in Columbus.

An extended playoff run will require New York to win on the road in a hostile environment like the one they will face at Lower.com Field.

Saturday will be another great test for how the road warriors handle a test away from Red Bull Arena.
