Lewis and Luqui’s Show

In New York’s past four matches, nobody has been able to stop Lewis Morgan and Luquinhas.

During that stretch, the two have combined for 7 goals across all competitions.

The two will have to stay hot to keep up with an LAFC attack featuring the likes of Carlos Vela and Cristian Arango.

Road…woes?

After a historic start to the season on the road, New York has suddenly started to struggle away from Red Bull Arena.

Their last two away games both resulted in losses where the Red Bulls failed to score a goal. They only managed five shots on target in those two matches.

It will be a tough task getting back on track, with LAFC being the current leader in the Supporters’ Shield standings, but New York has proven this season that they can be formidable on the road.

The Sheets are Clean

After failing to keep a clean sheet in six straight matches, New York is now on a stretch of two straight clean sheets.

In shutout victories over Toronto FC and New York City FC, the Red Bulls have only allowed six total shots on goal.

Against an LAFC team that leads the league in goals, Carlos Coronel and the New York backline will have to stand strong.
