Morgan’s Month

Lewis Morgan had himself quite the month of August, tallying four goals and an assist in six starts.

With big tests against conference foes like Philadelphia, New England and NYC coming up in September, another highly-productive month from Morgan will go along way towards solidifying New York’s playoff place.

Big Test

New York passed one of their biggest tests of the season on Wednesday as they won in Montréal for the first time since 2012.

But now the Eastern Conference leaders are in town in what will be the biggest test that New York has faced at home this season.

The Red Bulls are currently on a four-match unbeaten run, and got back in the win column last weekend against Inter Miami, but this will be a much bigger test. Will they pass it?

Playoff Preview

Any deep playoff run that New York is looking to make will most likely include a matchup against the conference-leading Philadelphia Union.

The Union are on fire, winning eight of their last 10 matches, scoring 39 goals in the process.

A result against the Union would help prove once again that the Red Bulls are contenders for the conference crown come playoff time.
