Red Bull New York (2-0-0, 6 pts.) face off against CF Montreal (0-2-0, 0 pts.) on Sunday, March 8 at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
Here are the Keys to the Game, presented by Toyota:
Teenage Dream
Three teenagers combined on New York’s match-winning goal.
The trio – Matthew Dos Santos (17), Adri Mehmeti (16) and Julian Hall (17) - combined to mark the first goal in MLS history where three players aged 17 or younger contributed to a single goal.
Hot Hand
Ethan Horvath turned in his first clear sheet with RBNY in his second match, keeping the New England Revolution off the board.
Horvath will face a Montréal team who are yet to score through two matches this season, one of two clubs not on the scoresheet (Atlanta United FC).
First Foray
Hall has been hot to start the season, with three goals in two matches and a Player of the Matchday under his belt. The Manhattan, N.Y. native became the youngest player in MLS history to score in each of the team’s first two games of the season.
But his first goal? It came against CF MontrĂ©al: He became the youngest goal scorer in franchise history at 16 years, 87 days old.Â
Can Hall stretch the streak to three matches?
Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET with coverage on Apple TV in English and Spanish, and Red Bulls Radio in English via the Red Bull New York app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
