Luis Robles Sets Club Record for MLS Minutes Played

Goalkeeper Luis Robles is the new club leader in Major League Soccer minutes played.

Robles has now played 14,400 minutes for New York, surpassing Dax McCarty's previous record (14,381).

Robles has started 160 straight games, playing the full 90 minutes, for New York and continues setting the MLS ironman streak with each consecutive start.

He broke Kevin Hartman’s all-time MLS record of 112 complete games against Colorado on April 16, and set a new league record for consecutive starts with his 119th against NYCFC.

The goalkeeper notched another shutout, No. 45 for him, with 29 coming at Red Bull Arena.

Robles is the only player in MLS history to start 100 consecutive games for the same franchise.
