HARRISON, N.J. (October 23, 2021) – New York Red Bulls II (6-17-7, 25 points) will travel to face The Miami FC (14-9-7, 49 points) on Sunday, October 24 at Riccardo Silva Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage available on ESPN+.

New York will look to continue its stretch in which it has earned a result in four of its last five matches. They concluded their 2021 home slate with a 3-0 victory over Loudoun United FC on Wednesday, October 20. It marked the fourth time this season that New York had three different goal scorers in a single match, as forwards Luther Archimede and Cameron Harper and defender Mandela Egbo all found the back of the net.

The two sides will meet for the final time this season, with Miami holding a 2-0-1 series lead. In the most recent meeting on August 29, Miami defeated New York 3-0 behind two goals from midfielder Lamar Walker.

Miami has clinched a spot in the 2021 USL Championship Playoffs, and is only three points behind Charlotte and Pittsburgh, who are both tied at 52 points for second place in the Atlantic Division.

New York currently sits in seventh place of the Atlantic Division, while Miami ranks fourth. They fell to in-state rival Tampa Bay Rowdies 3-0 on Wednesday, October 20.

Following Sunday’s match, New York will conclude the 2021 season as it travels to face Loudoun United FC for the third time in 30 days. Kickoff from Segra Field is set for 1:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on ESPN+.
