HARRISON, N.J. (May 12, 2021) – New York Red Bulls II welcome Miami FC to MSU Soccer Park on Friday, May 14. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with coverage available on ESPN+.
NYRB II earned their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw against Charleston on May 7. Forward Jake Lacava recorded his second goal of the season, which puts him fourth in the USL Championship for goals scored.
NYRB II defender Curtis Ofori, the youngest signing in club history, made his professional debut, while Austin Brummett made his first professional start in the draw. Â
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs and the first of four meetings this season.
Miami FC enter the match in third place of the Atlantic Division. After posting a win against Loudoun United FC in their home opener, they fell to Hartford Athletic, 1-0, on May 8.
Following Friday’s match, NYRB II will head on the road for the first time this season to face Loudoun United FC on May 18. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
