Atlanta United are currently on a four-match unbeaten streak and are coming off a 1-1 draw against Toronto FC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

New York is on a six-match home unbeaten streak, which includes three-straight wins and three-straight clean sheets. This is the first time New York has posted three-straight clean sheets at Red Bull Arena since 2018, where they posted three against D.C. United (1-0), Houston Dynamo (1-0), and Toronto FC (2-0). The Red Bulls have only allowed 11 goals at Red Bull Arena this season, which is the second lowest in MLS this year and the third lowest in franchise history.

After making his first appearance since October 9, midfielder Caden Clark recorded his fourth assist of the season in New York’s latest 1-0 win against CF Montréal on Saturday. This was Clark’s first assist since July 31 against New England Revolution and his second game-winning assist of the year. Every goal or assist that Clark has this season has been recorded at Red Bull Arena. In matches that Clark records a goal or an assist, New York has posted a 5-2-0 mark.

The Red Bulls have posted a 7-1-2 record in their last 10 matches and have earned 23 of their 46 points this season in that timespan. New York has recorded six clean sheets in that span, which is the most in MLS.

Following Wednesday’s match, New York will finish the 2021 regular season against Nashville SC on MLS Decision Day, which will take place on Sunday, November 7.
