HARRISON, N.J. (August 16, 2022) –The New York Red Bulls (10-8-7, 37 pts.) will head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for a midweek matchup against Atlanta United FC (7-9-8, 29 pts.) on Wednesday, August 17. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on MSG begins at 7 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

This will be the 12th overall MLS regular season meeting between New York and Atlanta, the Red Bulls lead the series with a 7-0-4 record in the regular season. New York has posted 3-0-2 record in Atlanta, where they have outscored their opponents, 9-5. Atlanta United enter the match in 13th place in the Eastern Conference and are unbeaten in their last three MLS regular season matches.

The last time out against Atlanta United FC, New York earned a 2-1 comeback win on June 30, where forward Serge Ngoma scored the game-winner in the 89th minute and became the third youngest goal scorer in franchise history. Midfielder Lewis Morgan scored the equalizing goal on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute and has scored all five attempts at the spot he has had this season. Morgan has recorded four goals and two assists in his career against Atlanta United FC.
