The New York Red Bulls battles the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, August 13 at Subaru Park in the 2025 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on Paramount+, CBS Sports Network, and New York Red Bulls Radio presented by Sports Illustrated in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on Paramount+ begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Joe Malfa will have primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Ricky Lopez-Espin on the English side.

New York Red Bulls Radio presented by Sports Illustrated begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Toyota, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

This will be the 47th overall meeting between the Red Bulls and Philadelphia with the Union holding the series advantage with a 21-16-9 mark against New York. The Red Bulls are unbeaten in their last four matches across all competitions, including a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake in their most recent match on August 10.

Forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored a brace and now has 15 MLS goals this season, which ranks tied for third in MLS. The Red Bulls have posted a 6-3-1 career mark in U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals matches and have posted a 3-1-0 mark in their last four road U.S. Open Cup matches.

Midfielder Mohammed Sofo has scored three goals in the U.S. Open Cup this season and he has recorded a goal in all four U.S. Open Cup matches he has played in his career. Sofo has recorded six goal contributions in four career U.S. Open Cup matches. His eight goals across all competitions, currently ranks third for the club this season.
