Forward Elias Manoel scored his first goal of the season in New York’s 2-1 win over Houston Dynamo FC on March 2. Manoel now has scored six career MLS regular season goals. He became the 29th different player to score the opening goal of the season in 29 seasons for the club. The Brazilian forward has scored four goals in his last five matches across all competitions and has scored three goals and three assists in his last three matches at Red Bull Arena.
