Red Bull New York faces off against rival New York City FC on Wednesday, April 29 at Sports Illustrated Stadium in the Round of 16 of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with coverage on CBS Sports Network, Paramount+, and Red Bulls Radio in English via the Red Bull New York Facebook page.
Coverage on Paramount + begins at 7 p.m. ET. Sean Saint Jacques will have primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Gary Bailey.

This will be the 33rd all-time meeting across all competitions between New York and NYCFC, with the Red Bulls holding the series advantage with a 16-12-4 mark. New York have posted a 5-0-0 mark against NYCFC in elimination matches, which includes a 3-0-0 mark in the U.S. Open Cup, with all of those matches being won at Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Forsberg has recorded four goal contributions in his last three matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium, which includes a goal and an assist in New York’s 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in Round of 32 of the Open Cup. The midfielder has made four career appearances in the Open Cup, and has recorded two goals and one assist.Â
Following Wednesday’s match, New York remain at Sports Illustrated Stadium to battle FC Dallas on Saturday, May 2 for Fireworks Night presented by OANDA.
