This will be the 84th regular season meeting between the Red Bulls and Columbus, with the Crew holding the series advantage with a 35-34-14 mark. New York have posted a 13-23-7 mark on the road against Columbus. In their last five matches across all competitions against the Crew, New York have posted a 2-1-2 mark.

The Red Bulls won the first match of the series this season against the Crew in a 3-2 victory at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
Red Bulls forward Julian Hall scored his first career MLS hat trick the last time the clubs met on May 13 in a 3-2 win for New York at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Hall became the youngest player in MLS history to record a hat trick at 18 years, 50 days old.
The Manhattan, N.Y. native currently leads the club in goals with nine scored on the year.
Following Saturday’s match, New York will head back home and prepare to conclude their road trip with a match against rivals New York City FC on Friday, September 18 at Yankee Stadium.
