This will be the 27th all-time regular season meeting between the Red Bulls and NYCFC, with the series being tied with both teams having a 11-11-4 mark. The Red Bulls are coming off a 2-0 win over CF Montreal, which saw captain Emil Forsberg record his 10th MLS assist of the season.
He became the fifth player in franchise history to record 10-plus MLS goals and assists in the same season and the first since Thierry Henry in 2014. New York have posted a 3-0-2 mark in their last five matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium. NYCFC have won six out of their last seven MLS matches.

Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded his 10th shutout of the season in New York’s 2-0 win over CF Montreal. His 10 shutouts currently rank tied for second in MLS and with the shutout, Coronel became the second goalkeeper in franchise history to record multiple seasons with 10-plus shutouts.
The Paraguayan international has recorded four shutouts in seven career matches against NYCFC at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
