HARRISON, N.J. (October 5, 2020) –The New York Red Bulls (6-7-2, 20 pts) look to bounce back on Wednesday as they host Inter Miami CF (3-10-2, 11 pts) at Red Bull Arena for the first time. Wednesday’s kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with coverage on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.


Coverage on MSG begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.


New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6 p.m. EST with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 6:30 p.m.




New York concludes the home-and-home slate with Inter Miami CF on Wednesday as the Red Bulls welcome Miami to RBA for the first time. Both teams played 15 days prior with New York coming away with a 4-1 victory at Inter Miami CF Stadium. The Red Bulls saw goals from four different goal scorers, which included Mandela Egbo, Brian White, Ben Mines and Daniel Royer.


This will be the second time this season the Red Bulls will face Inter Miami following a loss. New York is 9-5-4 in MLS regular-season play following a loss with a plus-10 goal differential (29 GF, 19 GA) since the beginning of 2019. New York has responded with multi-goal performances in eight of the 18 matches following a loss since the beginning of last year.


French midfielder Florian Valot picked up his second goal of 2020 and his fifth career MLS regular-season tally. Valot picked up his second goal of the season following a crucial interception and possession won in Orlando City’s final third that he created. He leads the team and sits second in MLS in possession won in the final third with 19, per Opta.


The Red Bulls hit the road for three of the next four games, beginning with back-to-back road matches against Atlanta United and Toronto FC. New York and Atlanta clash on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. with coverage on MSG and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish.
