HARRISON, N.J. (June 10, 2019) – With a two-week break between league matches, the New York Red Bulls will host the New England Revolution in the Fourth Round of the U.S. Open Cup at MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage ESPN+.


New York and New England will meet for the fourth time in Open Cup history. The Red Bulls own a 3-1 mark against the Revolution, most recently a 1-0 win in the 2017 quarterfinals at Jordan Field on the campus of Harvard University. Bradley Wright-Phillips scored the game-winner in the 87th minute against New England to help New York advance to the semifinals.


The Red Bulls and Revolution most recently faced off on April 20 in MLS play at Gillette Stadium. New England earned the 1-0 win as Christian Penilla slipped past a shot by Luis Robles to the near post in the 73rd minute to earn the three points. Despite the 1-0 loss, New York held advantages over New England in shots, 13-9, shots on goal, 5-2 and corner kicks, 5-4.


Brian White has taken advantage of the minutes he has been given this season, recording a team-best four goals and two assists in 631 minutes. He has tallied two goals and an assist in the last four matches. New York is 3-1-2 when White tallies either a goal or an assist this season. Of his four goals and two assists, he has recorded a goal and an assist as substitution.


If New York advances past New England, they will be redrawn into a new group of teams for the Round of 16, which will either be played either Tuesday, June 18 or Wednesday, June 19.
