MATCH RECAP, pres. by Provident Bank: Red Bulls End Season in Columbus

The New York Red Bulls finished out the regular season with a 3-1 defeat to Columbus Crew.

New York scored early, getting yet another goal from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the 11th minute.

Columbus was able to draw even minutes later, then scored two more unanswered in the second half.

The Red Bulls end the season in 10th in the Eastern Conference, with 43 points on the year.

"I want to say thank you, from deep in my heart, I want to say thank you for the support, I want to say thank you that they always believe in us," Head Coach Sandro Schwarz said of the fans. "We will work so hard. We will analyze everything in detail ... to come back stronger, to stay together."
