As the 2018 MLS SuperDraft approaches, the anticipation for who the New York Red Bulls will select with their No. 16 overall pick continues to build.


In Matt Doyle’s MLSSoccer.com 2018 Mock SuperDraft v. 1.0, he projects the Red Bulls will select Duke forward/winger, Brian White.


White, a former member of the New York Red Bulls U-23 team, totaled 17 goals and three assists in the 2018 Premier Development League season.


The Flemington, N.J. native finished his four-year collegiate career with 23 goals and 11 assists.


The forward has also been awarded numerous accolades, including being named to the All-America Third Team and earning two Team Most Valuable Offensive Player awards.


New York has five draft picks in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft: No. 16 overall in the First Round, No. 6 and 18 in the Second Round, and No. 14 and 16 in the Fourth Round.
