'More Possible' for the New York Red Bulls in Leg 2

Daniel Royer

"There is more possible."

Daniel Royer, who scored New York's goal in Leg 1 of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League, said that he thinks the Red Bulls can be better in Leg 2 against Club Deportivo Olimpia.

"We could’ve scored more goals and we wanted a clean sheet," Royer said following the draw. "We couldn’t make that happen, so I think there were some positives, but also some negatives that we have to analyze. It’s good that we scored the away goal but I think we could’ve made a better result."

Royer said that CD Olimpia played them tough, as they're "savvy" and "a little dirty."

"We’re looking forward to having them at Red Bull Arena," Royer said.

The two teams meet again for Leg 2 on Thursday, March 1 at 8 p.m.

"I think every team that’s coming to Red Bull Arena will have a difficult time there," Royer said. "We'll try to make it really difficult for them and if we play the same soccer as always in Red Bull Arena then I’m pretty confident. I can’t wait for it and to get a good result."
