Head Coach Jesse Marsch knows the direction forward for the New York Red Bulls is very clear.
"I think everything from the type of organization we are, to the type of team we are, to the style of play we have, has meant that now there is such a concrete example of what this identity and what this club is, that it makes it easier for everyone to understand, 'Okay, that’s what that is and now I know how to commit to it,'" Marsch said to Shep Messing during a 1-on-1 for MSG Network.
Marsch said he's proud of the first two years at the helm, but the best still lies ahead.
"We know that there’s more work to be done and there’s certainly enough good people internally to do that," he said.
The RBNY head coach has steered the team to 40-22-17 record and two-straight playoff appearances.
