Head Coach Jesse Marsch looked back on his second year at the helm of the New York Red Bulls in his 1-on-1 sit-down with Shep Messing for MSG.
Marsch said that he came into the job and already knew what he wanted to accomplish in his second season, and after winning the Supporters' Shield in 2015, thought "this was going to be the year we could really push it."
As for how it actually turned out?
"I'm really disappointed," Marsch said. "That we weren't able to honor so much of what had been achieved in two years by ultimately winning the trophy."
"I take a lot of responsibility for it," he said.
