Head Coach Chris Armas knows the Los Angeles Football Club will present a significant challenge on Sunday.
"We know that no matter what lineup they put out there, they have dynamic attackers, they’ll cause us trouble, they’re organized and clear with what they do when they don’t have the ball," Armas said. "We’re doing our homework over here to see how most they can hurt us and how we can give them some trouble, but it’ll be a difficult game."
LAFC comes into the match with 36 points through 21 matches, while the Red Bulls have 41 points through 21 games.
The Western Conference team will also have to juggle a midweek U.S. Open Cup match following Sunday's game at Red Bull Arena, but Armas still expects a strong lineup out of Bob Bradley's team.
"We’ll expect their best team and best version of their team," Armas said.

With four players away participating in the All-Star Game festivities, Armas knows getting them up to speed will be important, but they will know their jobs heading into the national TV matchup.
"There’s lots of time still before Sunday, and that group of guys obviously know the routine," Armas said. "They’ll get right back into it quickly and with a big game on Sunday at home -- a special day for Brad as well -- I think everyone’s going to be really excited about it.”
