HARRISON, N.J. (August 2, 2017) – The New York Red Bulls will travel to Cincinnati to take on FC Cincinnati (USL) in the semifinals of the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, August 15. The match will take place at Nippert Stadium on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.
The matchup was finalized after FC Cincinnati defeated Miami FC (NASL) tonight in Miami, 1-0, on the makeup date of their quarterfinal matchup.
The Red Bulls advanced to the semifinals by defeating three MLS sides, New York City FC, Philadelphia Union, and most recently the New England Revolution, 1-0 at Harvard University back on July 13.
