HARRISON, N.J. (June 21, 2023) – New York Red Bulls forward Cory Burke has been named to the Jamaican Men’s National team roster for the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Â
Burke has made 30 caps for the Jamaican Men’s National Team, including 21 starts. He has scored eight goals in 1,708 minutes played. Burke has started both of Jamaica’s international friendlies ahead of the Gold Cup, scoring on a penalty in a 2-1 loss against Jordan on Monday, June 19.Â
Burke and Jamaica will open up the 2023 Gold Cup group stage against United States on Saturday, June 24 at Soldier Field with kickoff set for 9:30 p.m. ET. They will then face off against Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday, June 28 and finally, finish group stage play with a match up against Saint Kitts and Nevis on Sunday, July 2.Â
The Kingston, Jamaica native has scored two goals in 15 appearances for the Red Bulls this season. He scored his first goal for the club on April 29 against Chicago Fire FC in the 89th minute of the match.
