HARRISON, N.J.(February 21, 2017) -- New York Red Bulls II announced today kickoff times for each of the team’s 2017 USL Regular Season home matches. In addition to 16 road contests, NYRB II will host 16 home matches in total, 14 will be played at MSU Soccer Park on the campus of Montclair State University. Two additional NYRB II home matches will be played at Red Bull Arena to make it 16 in total as part of the USL season.
NYRB II will kick off their 2017 campaign on the road on Saturday, March 25, in Pittsburgh, PA taking on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at Highmark Stadium as they aim to defend their 2016 USL Cup title.
April 1 serves as NYRB II’s 2017 Home Opener at 4 p.m. at MSU Soccer Park versus the Richmond Kickers.
All kickoff dates are subject to change.
Last year, NYRB II featured a trio of players that made the jump to signing with the Red Bulls Senior Team (Rafael Diaz, Daniel Metzger, Tyler Adams.)
NYRB II’s successful season included amassing 69 points during the regular season, (a USL record) as well as a USL Shield, culminating with a USL Cup Title.
