HARRISON, N.J. (September 10, 2018) - The New York Red Bulls will kick off its annual 11 Days of Service today -- Monday, September 10 -- with a trip to the Ronald McDonald House in New York City. The Red Bulls created the 11 Days of Service initiative to run in conjunction with September 11, the national day of service and remembrance.
Rather than participate in just one day of service, New York Red Bulls players and front office staff will participate in 11 different community activations as a tribute to both the victims and survivors from the attacks of September 11, 2001.
"Our entire organization is extremely proud to partake in the '11 Days of Service' community initiative," said Marc de Grandpre, General Manager, New York Red Bulls. "During the last five years, our players, coaches and front office staff have rallied in unison to support our neighbors in need, in honor of the true heroes from 9/11."
