The New York Red Bulls have reached a partnership agreement with Just One Soccer League (JOSL), the club announced today.
The partnership will connect the two clubs in a grassroots soccer community, provide a five-day summer outreach camp, coach education workshops, and a player pathway initiative that provides training to club team players and educational support to club coaches teaching soccer in community programs.
“Just One Soccer League is delighted to partner with the New York Red Bulls, bringing enhanced training opportunities to the youth participating in our development programs,” said Oscar Rodriguez, executive director at JOSL. “We are honored to be included in the New York Red Bulls commitment to Urban Athletics in Newark. Just One Soccer stands for our community and our community stands with the New York Red Bulls.”
“This partnership allows us the opportunity to develop local players and provide them with all the tools necessary to succeed,” said Dave Jervis, Red Bulls Director of Training Programs. “As a leader in youth soccer, it is important that we play an active role in the development of future soccer generations.”
JOSL joins Ironbound SC as the Red Bulls’ latest Newark, N.J., partners.
