Wallis Lapsley, who was named Big West Goalkeeper of the Year in 2019, was selected by the New York Red Bulls as the No. 36 pick in the 2020 Major League Soccer SuperDraft presented by adidas.
Lapsley, who majored in Global Disease Biology at UC Davis, also picked up other important honors in 2019, which included All-Big West First Team and USC All-Far West Region Second Team.
The 22-year-old from Seattle made 203 saves during his four years with the Aggies.
