HARRISON, N.J. (June 9, 2017) – The New York Red Bulls have terminated the loan of forward Fredrik Gulbrandsen. The move comes after Gulbrandsen cleared MLS waivers.
Gulbrandsen, who joined New York in March, will return to RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
“After speaking with Fredrik, we have reached a decision that is in the best interest of all parties involved and will allow him to return home,” said New York Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett. “We will continue to evaluate options to strengthen our roster in the upcoming transfer window.”
