BY THE NUMBERS | A numerical guide to RBNY vs. NYCFC

The Red Bulls head to Yankee Stadium for the first time on Sunday for a second meeting with New York City FC. Kickoff on ESPN is set for 5 p.m., with coverage beginning at 4:30 p.m. The Red Bulls will also provide English and Spanish radio broadcasts via NewYorkRedBulls.com

Here are some numbers to know ahead of Sunday’s match.

2: The Red Bulls took the previous meeting by a 2-1 score on May 10th at Red Bull Arena. Bradley Wright-Phillips opened the scoring in just the fourth minute, and struck again after the Red Bulls were reduced to 10 men to lead the home side to victory in front of a sold-out crowd.

7: The Red Bulls have scored first in seven matches this season, and hold a 5-2-0 record when doing so.

16: 16 games into its inaugural campaign, NYC FC is 4-7-5 and riding a three-match win streak.

88: Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles is set to make his 88th consecutive start for the Red Bulls, dating back to his first start in 2012. A full 90 minutes Sunday will tie Robles with long-time New England Revolution ‘keeper Matt Reis for the third-longest such streak in league history.

20: Yankee Stadium in the Bronx is 20 miles from Red Bull Arena. The team, staff, and hundreds of supporters will make the trek through Manhattan to meet NYC FC head-on.
