HARRISON, N.J. (August 19, 2016) – New York Red Bulls II became the first USL team to clinch a berth in the 2016 USL playoffs on Friday night with a 1-0 win over Louisville City FC at Red Bull Arena. Brandon Allen converted a penalty kick to give New York the win.

NYRB II is now 15-3-5 on the season and 6-2-4 at home. NYRB II sits atop the Eastern Conference, three points ahead of Louisville City FC.
