HARRISON, N.J. (June 20, 2017) – New York Red Bulls II forward Junior Flemmings has been named to the Jamaican National Team’s Scotiabank CFU Men’s Caribbean Cup roster taking place from June 22-25, as Jamaica aims to defend their title.
Jamaica will face off against French Guiana in Martinique Thursday, while the hosts Martinique will play Curacao later that day. The winners of those matches will play one another Sunday for the title.
All four of the tournaments sides have qualified for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Flemmings will be looking to make his official senior team debut for Jamaica having played for Jamaican Youth National sides.
Flemmings has recorded four goals in 13 appearances for Red Bull II this season, giving him 11 goals for his USL career.
Flemmings will miss Saturday’s NYRB II match at Ottawa Fury FC.
