After fighting off an early-season injury, defender Jordan Scarlett put a positive mark to his first career season with the New York Red Bulls II.

In his first season, the Bronx native featured in 19 matches for the team, starting 17 out of those matches and proved to be a rock in the Red Bulls II backline alongside Cameroonian international Hassan Ndam.

The former All-MAAC First Team selection hit away 90 clearances on the year while winning nearly 70% of his tackles this season. Scarlett also took care of the ball in the Red Bulls II half this season, boasting a quality 86.2% passing rate.
